Walnut Creek Tire Sweep

Join the City of Canal Winchester and Franklin County Metro Parks for the eighteenth annual tire sweep and creek cleanup.  Volunteers are needed to help remove tires and other debris in the Walnut Creek Basin.  

Volunteers should meet at Walnut Woods Metro Park office, located at 6723 Lithopolis Road.  Pancakes and coffee will be provided for all volunteers starting at 7:30 AM, compliments of Park Manager Mindi McConnell.  Canoes and kayaks are welcome, or volunteers may wade through the creek.  Tires will be collected rain or shine.
