Starting plants from seed and transplanting

Guests will have the ability to buy a soil-blocking tool at a discounted price for attending.

Guests will leave with a tray of seed starts in blocked soil.

All tools and materials will be provided by Yellowood Farm. A variety of seeds will be provided or guests can bring their own.

• Farm Rules: No Guns, No Smoking, No Pets.

• Dress for the weather. Even if our workshop is indoors, please dress for the weather. Most of our workshops include some element of outdoor farm tour or walk-about. Do not wear open-toed shoes to the farm. Boots or hiking shoes are always the best option.

• We try to have a portable outdoor restroom for guests year-round, but this is not always possible in winter months.
