Running Scared - 5K Run or Walk

Join us on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 10:00 am for our 2nd Annual Canal Winchester Chamber’s Running Scared 5K sponsored by Diley Ridge Medical Center. This is a Spooktacular event promoting Family Friendly Healthy Activities including a 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Run & Kids Fun Run at Hanners Park (458 Groveport Rd. Canal Winchester). Costumes aren’t just optional; they’re encouraged. There’s even a prize for the best one!

Early Bird Special Registration is $25 which includes your 2018 CW Chamber Running Scared 5K T-shirt.

Early Packet Pickup

Save time in line on Saturday morning and pick up your gear early. Stop by Altercare in Canal Winchester (6725 Thrush Dr 43110) Thursday, October 25 or Friday, October 26 from 10a to 7p and get your shirt and bib number.

Parking

There is plenty of parking at Hanners Park and at the two churches next door.

Costume Contest

Costumes are highly encouraged for the event. Dress up and you'll be entered into the costume contest. Prizes will be awarded to both kids and adults in each of the following categories: funniest, scariest, and cutest.

Am I allowed?

Running strollers are allowed, please line up at the back of the pack at the beginning. For the safety of all participants, the following are not allowed: pets, bicycles, inline skates, hoverboards, etc. This is a running/walking event only.
