National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Being held at the Canal Winchester High School many first responders will be there to showcase their equipment including fire engines, ladder trucks, squads, etc. There will also be LifeFlight, K9 unit and they are hoping to have the mounted patrol. All of course are dependent on whether there are calls are not.
They will have fun games for kids including bounce houses, football throws and a dunk tank for both firemen and police!
