Nominations are open for our 2024 Annual Awards night!
This is a night where they celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions of individuals in our community. They encourage everyone to nominate deserving individuals and businesses who have made a significant impact here in Canal Winchester. Submit a nomination!
They are now accepting award nominations through Friday, December 22nd.
Here's what you need to do:
- Review the following categories below and make sure your nominee meets the criteria in their respective category.

Complete the 3-question QUESTIONNAIRE to nominate a Business, Person, and Pillar in the community. Please write 2-3 sentences supporting your nomination. Note: Each category is on a separate page, respectively.

Submit your name and nomination(s) on the last page of the questionnaire.
Categories:
Business of the Year: (voted on by the CW Chamber Board of Directors)
- Must be an active and engaged member of the Canal Winchester Chamber of Commerce in good standing
- Must be a viable ongoing business which has maintained stability over its business life
- Must have contributed to the growth and enhancement of the Canal Winchester area
- Must have an excellent reputation in the community
Business Person of the Year: (voted on by the CW Chamber Board of Directors)
- Awarded to an individual
- Must be an active and engaged member of the Canal Winchester Chamber of Commerce in good standing
- Must have positively impacted the Canal Winchester business community
- Must have an excellent reputation in the community
Pillar of the Community Award: (Does not need to be a Chamber member. Nominations are open to the community, voted on by active Chamber members)
- Seen by the community as an exemplary citizen
- Leads by example through volunteering and or mentoring others
- Contributes time and talents to education and local humanitarian efforts
- Must have an excellent reputation in the community
- Must be in good standing with the Chamber, City, and Local School system.
