The Canal Winchester Art Guild is proud to sponsor its second “Art Stroll” in downtown Canal Winchester. Artists and entertainment will be featured in local businesses and studios. A wide variety of art and mediums will be displayed including paintings, collage, glass, jewelry, photography, fiber art and mixed media. Maps detailing each artist’s location and the time and place of all special events will be available at the information booth at the intersection of Waterloo and High Streets in downtown Canal Winchester.
Some entertainment highlights of the “Stroll” will include the CWHS Steel Drum Band, a
Barber Shop Quartet, and guitarist, Casey Redmond. The Senior Center will feature a quilt exhibit with quilting being demonstrated at the Center. The Canal Winchester Historical Society will offer tours of the only Barber Museum in the United States. You’ll also be able to sample Canal Winchester’s culinary delights including wine tasting and fantasy cupcakes.
Featured artists will include: Julian Cennamo, Sharon Will, Carolyn Sittler, Christy Jones, Sandra Packer, Margaret Sharrad Eciksen, Andrea Fox, Zane Miller, Annette Simon, Robert Warren, Linda Sabo, Mary Nordstrom, Linda Henry Boving, Robert Kemper, Anne Blackwell, Hilda Waddell, Patty Sykes, Gary Bumpus, Kathryn Gorney, Jim Schwartz and the work of Canal Winchester High School art students.
Participating Studios and host businesses will include: Studio 7.5, Harvest Moon Café, Fantasy Cupcakes, CornerSmiths, The Laughing Ewe, Shade on the Canal, Zane Miller Studio, The Art Loft, Glass Canvas, Capital Therapy Service, Erin Johnson Photography, Canal Winchester Senior Center and the Town Hall.
