Returning this year will be the gingerbread house contest. There will be two age categories, a 12 year and under category and a family category. All gingerbread house contest entries will be on display at the Village Wine Shop, 10 S. High Street.
Santa will be coming to town at 5:30 p.m. on Friday night and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday night. Both evenings he will be escorted by the Madison Township Fire Department. Tree lighting will take place after Santa’s arrival on each night, with local High School Choir’s singing. Be sure to bring your camera for visits with Santa, starting after the tree lighting each night. All activities at the event are free and open to everyone. Toy donations to the Adopt-a-family program are appreciated and can be dropped off at the Huntington Bank during visits with Santa.
