DESCRIPTION:Join the City of Canal Winchester and Franklin County Metro Parks for the seventeenth annual tire sweep and creek cleanup.  Volunteers are needed to help remove tires and other debris in the Walnut Creek Basin.  Volunteers should meet at Walnut Woods Metro Park office\, located at 6723 Lithopolis Road\, at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday\, October 4th.  Snacks and refreshments will be provided prior to departing for the creek.  Canoes and kayaks are welcome\, or volunteers may wade through the creek.  Cleanup will take place rain or shine.
