DESCRIPTION:The City of Canal Winchester\, with Canal Winchester Senior Citizens\, Inc. and VFW Post 10523 will host a Veterans March and Ceremony on Saturday November 11. The public and members of the media are invited to join veterans\, city officials\, and guests for this patriotic event. \n\n\n\nVeterans March & Ceremony\, 10:00 A.M.  \n\nA Veterans March will begin at Frances Steube Community Center's 22 S. Trine St. entrance and continue onto East Waterloo between Trine and High Street\, turning at S. High Street to end at Stradley Place. \n\n\n\nA ceremony at Stradley Place (located next to Canal Winchester Municipal Office Building at 36 S. High Street in downtown Canal Winchester) will be held immediately following the veterans march.  Highlights will include a special performance of our National Anthem by Mike Walker\, a 21 Gun Salute\, and the playing of Taps. 2017 Keynote speaker Warren Motts will address the crowd.\n\n\n\nNovember 11 veterans celebration will also feature a free pancake breakfast for veterans and their families\, including widows and widowers\, at the Frances Steube Community Center from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
