DESCRIPTION:An open house public meeting is scheduled for Thursday\, February 19 from 5:00 7:00 PM in City Hall Council Chambers (45 E. Waterloo\, Canal Winchester\, OH 43110) to share information on a project proposed by ODOT.\n\n\n\nOhio Department of Transportation - Columbus District 6 is proposing a full replacement of the two-lane State Route (SR) 674/Gender Road bridge over Little Walnut Creek in Canal Winchester\, Franklin County\, Ohio. The proposed project would widen the new bridge to provide an 8-foot sidewalk on one side to allow for a future pedestrian path along the east side of Gender Road. The number of lanes on the bridge will remain unchanged\, with one lane in each direction.\n\n\n\nConstruction will require a closure of the bridge for approximately 90 days\, with posted detours. Work is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2028\, and the estimated project cost is $4.69 million.
