DESCRIPTION:Canal Winchester City Council will hold a public meeting on December 16\, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the purchase of property located 45 East Waterloo St.\, the former Bob McDorman Automotive Museum. The meeting will be held at Town Hall (10 North High St.) and is open to the public. A brief presentation of the purchase contract and details of the building will be given by city staff followed by the opportunity for public comment. A 5 minute per person time limit will be enforced.\n\nThe intended use of the 23\,600 square feet building is to accommodate municipal offices (currently at 36 S. High St.)\, the relocated Community Center (currently at 22 S. Trine St.)\, relocated City Council Chambers (currently at 10 N. High St.)\, and to provide for an additional tenant space to benefit the community. The proposed purchase will provide ample space for our growing city to accommodate the public in a modern\, efficient\, and accessible building while remaining in the historic core of our city.
