DESCRIPTION:Attention local gardeners!  A free backyard conservation workshop is scheduled to be held on April 21st\, Earth Day\, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Frances Steube Community Center (22 S. Trine St.) in Canal Winchester.  The workshop\, offered in partnership with Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District\, is entitled Community Backyards. \n\nParticipants will learn the benefits of rain gardens\, rain barrels and composting. Those who attend the free workshop may also be eligible to receive a $50 rebate voucher (*dependent on homeowners location & while supplies last) on the purchase of an approved rain barrel and/or composter.
